Awkward. kicked off the 2nd half of Season 3 just hours after where we left off, when Jenna, excellently played by One Tree Hill’s Ashley Rickards, makes out with recurring guest star Nolan Funk’s (Glee, Warehouse 13) Collin at a party. Jenna is in a relationship with school heartthrob Matty McKibben, Desperate Housewives’  Beau Mirchoff.  While Collin was able to break it off with his previous relationship for Jenna – Jenna was not.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER Review 9.01 & 9.02 | The Locket & Coming Back

HIMYM-1

Note: Due to some technical difficulties at our site, voiceoftv.com, my reviews and articles will be published on my personal blog until the matter is resolved

How I Met Your Mother made its final season debut last night and it mostly didn’t disappoint.  The episodes showcased how Lily met the mother, that Ted wasn’t actually done with his feelings for Robin, duh, and just gave Marshall something to do.  I want to look at each character separately.

LUCKY 7 Advance Review 1.01: “Pilot”

ANASTASIA PHILLIPS, ISIAH WHITLOCK JR., LORRAINE BRUCE, MATT LONG, STEPHEN LOUIS GRUSH, SUMMER BISHIL, LUIS ANTONIO RAMOS

Note: Due to some technical difficulties at our site, voiceoftv.com, my reviews and articles will be published on my personal blog until the matter is resolved

This year I am going to covering ABC’s new drama Lucky 7 for Voice of TV and splitting time with Drew Reeves.  I was given the opportunity to check out an advanced copy of the pilot and I can say that I am glad that I did.  This is actually one of the pilots I am most excited about this fall, even if that comes as a shock to most of you. I like the simple premise of the show and that its really about these core people and their one central connection.  I loved the premise when NBC did it with the summer show Windfall and I am interested in this new version as well.

The Workouts Return…

6am-clock1And we’re back…

After again being at the finish line of a marathon event that I wasn’t a part of, the fitness bug has bitten me again.  Go head and see previous experiences here.

Last week was the start of another plan to get back into a workout mode. I decided that I wanted to workout twice a day.  So I made a plan and here is what it looks like:

Mondays: morning run | after-work weights

Tuesdays: morning walk | after-work rowing & core

Wednesdays: morning run | after-work weights

Thursday: morning walk | after-work indoor bike & core

Friday: morning run | after-work weights

Saturday: rest day!! Maybe some Community Yoga with Lululemon Spokane.

Sunday: (longer?) run

So far, everything has been great. My runs have been between 2.5-3.5 miles each and the weather has cooperated so far.  If this keeps up, then I will start to look at signing up for my first full marathon…we’ll see how it goes.

Arrow Review: Lone Gunmen

I am excited to get the chance to review The CW’s new hit show Arrow weekly for Voice of TV.  I was excited to watch this show before it premiered and it has not disappointed me yet. It’s unlike anything on TV and I’m happy to see The CW move in this direction.

A top-notch episode that delves deeper into what we already know brings out more of what’s to come for Oliver Queen in ‘Arrow’ 1.03: Lone Gunmen.
