We begin the 5th leg of The Amazing Race in Bangledesh, finding out that James’, of James & Abba, dad has stage 4 cancer back at home. He says its a new kind of motivation for the race.
James & Abba depart first after last weeks Fast Forward, and head out to the Jatrabari Market. I am not sure how I feel that the teams are not going to an airport right away for another leg. Sometimes it is nice for the teams to catch back up as it makes the challenges more interesting.
What a double eviction on last night’s whirlwind Big Brother episode. Mike Boogie and Jenn were fighting for survival before an entire week’s worth of games were played to evict another houseguest.
I am securely a member of the #QuackPack and more specifically am a fan of how great of a game Britney is playing. Whatever happens moving forward to keep Britney in the game is okay by me.
I am pretty excited with the way this season of Big Brother is going. Obviously I love that Britney is back and her confessionals make the season work. She is readying this players like its her job and I could not be happier.
This was a crazy week, but of course what I predicted is exactly what happened. Check out The Voice of TV for your television recaps and reviews and check out my full recap of Big Brother Week 2.
Big Brother is back and my summer can officially start. Okay, it started when we decided to have a full week of 95+ degree weather, but this is the unofficial start for me. I am happy to be able to review Big Brother this season for The Voice of TV. Check out my recap and thoughts on the Big Brother 14 Premiere.
Trailers for most of the new fall series have been spread across the internet in the few weeks since the 2012 Upfronts and they always bring a mixed bag of thoughts and feelings with them. Here is a series of posts of my reactions to the new shows on network television for Fall 2012. These views are based on what I see in the trailers below and remember that I am picky with my thoughts.
Today I take a look at the trailers for the new CBS shows. CBS only has 4 new shows on the fall schedule, simply because most of their shows are hits and don’t get cancelled. Most of the shows that I watch on CBS are A) their reality powerhouses: Survivor, The Amazing Race, and Big Brother or B) select comedies: How I Met Your Mother, 2 Broke Girls, and Big Bang Theory
Partners – Mondays 8:30 PM
Starring Sophia Bush, David Krumholtz, Michael Urie, & Brandon Routh
My Thoughts: Well you know I am watching anything that Sophia Bush enters, so they’ve got me already. The same creators as Will & Grace, and while I didn’t watch that show, we can agree that it was a successful television show. I think the premise is decent i the friendship between Krumholtz and Urie’s characters can stay believable. I will be watching regardless and having it paired with HIMYM means my DVR is already open for it.
I have been a huge fan of Survivor since the 2nd season premiere and the latest installment, Survivor: One World, premieres this Wednesday, February 15th at 8:00 PM on CBS. This season is bringing us big twists and changes to the game. Click here for my thoughts on the new twist over at The Voice of TV and be sure to check back to see how the season unfolds.
